Reuben Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 4 slices Villaggio® Rustico™ White Loaf
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) grainy mustard
  • 1 tsp (5ml) sriracha hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) butter
  • 6 slices (100g) corned beef
  • 1 cup (100g) sauerkraut, drained
  • 2 slices (70g) swiss cheese

Directions

  1. Combine mayonnaise, grainy mustard and sriracha in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a pan on medium-high heat.
  3. Place one slice of bread in the pan, spread the sauce on top and add corned beef, sauerkraut, and cheese. Close the sandwich and let cook for approx. 4 mins until the cheese melts. Flip occasionally.
  4. Repeat with the other sandwich and serve immediately.
