Air Fryer Egg In A Basket

Ingredients

  • 1 slice of Dempster’s® 100% Whole Grains Double Flax Bread
  • Olive oil spray
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 (35g) cherry tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 (15g) tbsp goat cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tbsp (8g) pea shoots

Directions

  1. With the back of a spoon, create a circular dent in the Dempster bread slice. Spray with olive oil.
  2. Crack an egg in the dent, add salt and pepper and place it carefully in the air fryer.
  3. Air fry at 330°F for 8 minutes. The egg should be cooked but still runny.
  4. Top with cherry tomatoes, goat cheese and pea shoots.

Tip : Have fun with the toppings, you can use red diced peppers, alfalfa sprouts, feta cheese, bacon, etc…
