Apricot Brie and Toasted Pecan Sandwich

Cheesy, nutty, and healthy as well. The perfect fall sandwich!
Ingredients
- 4 Slices Dempster’s® 100% Whole Grains 12 Grain Bread
- 3 tbsp (45 mL) Apricot jam
- 3 oz (87 mL) Brie cheese
- 3 tbsp (45 mL) Chopped toasted pecans
- 3 tbsp (45 mL) Butter
Directions
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Spread two slices of bread with apricot jam.
- Divide the cheese between the two sandwiches, and top with toasted pecans.
- Place the second slice of bread on top.
- Butter the outside of the sandwich and grill for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
