Bread Ends Air Fryer Cheesy Croutons

An easy and tasty way to use up those leftover bread ends. The air fryer creates a crispy and crunchy texture, while the cheese and seasoning add a delicious flavour. They are perfect for topping salads, and soups, or for snacking on their own.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of Dempster’s® Ancient Grains with Quinoa Bread ends (cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
  • 1/3 to 1/2 Parmesan

Directions

  1. Preheat Air Fryer to 400°F
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic powder, seasoning salt, and parmesan and toss in the bread end cubes to coat evenly
  3. Allow approx. 2-3 minutes for the butter to absorb
  4. Place the bread end cubes into the Air Fryer basket and cook for 4 minutes, then, toss and cook for another 2 minutes
  5. Remove onto a paper towel plate and drain for a couple of minutes before use
