Candied Pepper Feta Croquette

  • 4 slices of Villaggio Classico White Bread
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) Feta, chopped
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) Red Peppers, roasted and chopped
  • 1 Garlic Clove, chopped
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) Honey
  • 3 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup (250 ml) Panko Breadcrumbs
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 Green Salad
  • Cooking Oil as needed


  1. Use a rolling pin to flatten each bread slice as thinly as possible.
  2. In a bowl, mix the feta, red pepper, garlic and honey.
  3. Spread the prepared mixture on each slice of bread.
  4. Roll each slice into a small roll.
  5. Dip each roll in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs.
  6. In a hot pan, fry the rolls on all sides in 1-inch of oil, until they are crispy and golden-brown.
  7. Slice each roll in half and serve accompanied by a green salad.
