Chicken Pesto Tortilla Wrap

Our Chicken Pesto Tortilla Wrap is a delicious and easy way to use up the leftovers you already have in your fridge. All you need is a Dempster’s® 100% Whole Wheat Large Tortilla, cooked chicken and a bit of prepared basil pesto. Add some shredded cheese and dinner is served.

  • 2 Dempster's® 100% Whole Wheat Large Tortillas
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) prepared basil pesto
  • 1 cup (250 mL) shredded cooked chicken
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) shredded Italian cheese blend


  1. Spread pesto evenly along the centre of each tortilla, leaving a small border at each end. Top with chicken and cheese.
  2. Fold up the bottom of the tortilla over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up tightly.
  3. Heat the panini press according to the manufacturer's instructions; heat for 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Tip: Alternatively, brush tortillas with oil and bake on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet in preheated 400°F (200°C) oven for about 10 minutes or until tortillas are golden and cheese is melted.
