Cinnamon Toast Bagel Loaf

Ingredients

  • 1 Package Dempster’s® Signature Maple French Toast Bagels
  • 1 Tsp (5g) Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 Tsp (5g) Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 Cup (125g) Brown Sugar
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup (125g) Butter, melted
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1 1/4 Cups (310mL) Whole Milk
  • 1 1/4 Cups (310mL) Cream
  • 2 Tbsp (30g) White Sugar
  • 4 Tbsp (60g) Honey

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare a 9 x 13-inch (23cm x 33cm) oven-proof baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
  3. Split the bagels in half and arrange them in layers.
  4. Whisk together cinnamon, vanilla, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, salt, whole milk, and cream.
  5. Pour the mixture over the bagels.
  6. Allow this to soak at room temperature for 30 minutes or cover with foil and refrigerate overnight (allow at least 30 minutes to sit at room temperature before baking).
  7. Bake for 25-35 minutes, at 375°F (190°C), until golden brown and set.
  8. Sprinkle with the white sugar and honey.
  9. Option to serve with a scoop of ice cream, per serving.
