French Toast Roll-Ups

French Toast Roll Ups are the ultimate dippable breakfast treat. Delicious Dempster’s® White Bread is packed with peanut butter and jam and then rolled up into a cinnamon-and-sugar-coated French Toast roll. For added decadence, top with maple sugar.

Sliced Bread


  • 8 Slices Dempster’s® White Bread
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) Smooth peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) Raspberry jam
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Milk
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) Cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup (80 mL) Sugar
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Vegetable oil


  1. Roll each slice of bread to a 1/4 - 1/8 inch thickness using a rolling pin.
  2. Spread each with peanut butter then jam.
  3. Roll each piece of bread from top to bottom as tightly as possible.
  4. Whisk together eggs and milk in a shallow bowl.
  5. Heat the oil in a large non-stick skillet over low heat.
  6. Dip each bread roll into the egg mixture and place in the pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown.
  7. Combine cinnamon and sugar in a shallow bowl. Place each roll in the mixture and toss to coat.
  8. Serve with maple syrup if desired.
