Pesto Egg Toast

  • 1 slice of Dempster’s® 100% Whole Grains 12 Grains Bread
  • 2 tbsp (15g) feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) pesto, pre-made
  • 1 egg, large
  • 1/2 tsp (1g) chili flakes (optional)


  1. Toast your bread slice in the toaster.
  2. In the meantime, melt the feta in a small frying pan on medium heat. Add pesto, and allow it warm up for 2 minutes, until bubbling.
  3. Crack your egg on top of the feta pesto mixture and cook until you reach the desired consistency.
  4. Place egg on the toast, sprinkle with chili flakes if desired and enjoy!

Tip: Swap pesto for chili oil for a different experience!
