Sweet meets savoury in this mouthwatering recipe featuring our naturally fermented Chia & Supergrains bread, that will make your brunch one to remember.
Ingredients
- 8 slices of Stonemill® Bakehouse Chia & Supergrains Bread
- 300g (1.5 cups) mascarpone cheese
- 2 tablespoon (30ml) honey
- 15-18 fresh strawberries, diced
- 4-5 tablespoon (45-60ml) prepared balsamic reduction
- Fresh mint, torn
Directions
- In a medium bowl, add mascarpone cheese and honey and mix well to combine. Set aside
- On a serving plate, place 2 slices of the toasted bread and spread each with 2 tbsp of the cheese mixture
- Top each one with approximately 3 tbsp of the diced strawberries
- Drizzle 1 tbsp of the balsamic glaze over the strawberries and garnish with fresh torn mint
- Dive in with a big bite and marvel at how you can get away with eating dessert for breakfast!
