Stuffed Oysters

  • 3 slices of Villaggio Artesano® Original White Bread, to yield 1 Cup (250g) of fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup (250g) of fresh Breadcrumbs
  • 1 clove of Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp (30g) flat Italian Parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp (15g) unsalted Butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Hot Sauce
  • 1 tsp (5g) Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp (5ml) Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Shallot, finely minced
  • 1 tsp (5ml) fresh Lemon Juice
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup (62.5g) Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 24 fresh Shucked Oysters


  1. Preheat grill on high or oven on broil
  2. Process 3 Slices of bread in a food processor for about 30 seconds to make perfect fresh breadcrumbs
  3. In a small mixing bowl, stir breadcrumbs together with garlic, parsley, butter, hot sauce, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, shallots, and lemon juice until well combined, then, season with salt & pepper to taste
  4. Loosen each oyster from the shell with a paring knife
  5. Spoon the mixture over the oysters
  6. Sprinkle with the parmesan
  7. Grill for 3-5 minutes till browned and bubbly OR arrange oysters on a baking sheet and broil for 2-3 minutes until browned
  8. Enjoy Immediately
