Tomato Avocado Sandwich

Sliced Bread


  • 4 Dempster’s® Small Sliced Grains Bread
  • 1 Large Avocado, peeled, pitted, and mashed
  • 1 Tomato, thinly sliced
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 1 Shallot, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 3/4 Cup (185g) Hummus
  • 4 Leaves of Curly Lettuce


  1. Spread 2 slices of bread with mashed avocado and layer with tomato slices.
  2. Sprinkle with salt & pepper, to taste.
  3. Combine hummus with shallots and layer over the tomato slices, then top each with lettuce leaves and remaining slices of bread.
