Ingredients

  • 2 slices Dempster's® 100% Whole Grain Multigrain Bread, toasted
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) ricotta cheese
  • 4 thin slices cantaloupe melon, halved
  • 4 slices prosciutto
  • 4 fresh basil leaves

Directions

  1. Spread each slice of toast with ricotta cheese.
  2. Layer melon and prosciutto over top.
  3. Top with basil leaves.

Tip: Replace basil with mint if desired.
Replace ricotta with cream cheese if desired.
If you like, omit ricotta and drizzle the toast with extra virgin olive oil.
