  • 8 to 12 slices of Villaggio® Classico White Bread
  • 1lb (450g) Ground Beef
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 1 cup (250ml) Potatoes, brunoise cut (small cubes)
  • 4 tbsp (60ml) Cooking Oil
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, chopped
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) Beef Bouillon concentrate
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) Tourtière Spice Blend
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) Butter
  • Ketchup
  • Salt and Pepper to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) with the oven rack in the middle position.
  2. In a pan, sauté the meat, onion and potatoes in a little cooking oil for 10 minutes.
  3. Add the garlic, beef bouillon concentrate, and tourtière spices, and continue cooking for 1 minute. Taste for seasoning.
  4. Butter the muffin pan cups, gently press each slice of bread into the cups to form a base, add the prepared mixture and bake for 20 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool, then use a spatula to turn them out of the pan.
  6. Add a touch of ketchup on top and serve.
