Turkey Bacon Ranch Sandwich

Ingredients

Sandwich:

  • 4 slices of Villaggio® Italian Style Thick Slice 100% Whole Wheat Bread
  • 6-8 slices deli Turkey or 4 slices leftover Turkey
  • 8 slices crispy Bacon
  • 5 oz (140g) Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 Red Onion, shredded
  • 4 leaves of green crispy Lettuce
  • 1 Tomato, sliced thin
  • 1/2 cup creamy Peppercorn Ranch Dressing

Creamy Peppercorn Ranch Sauce:

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 3 tbsp (45ml) Lemon Juice
  • 2 tsp (10ml) coarsely ground Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) Onion Powder
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste

Directions

Sandwich:

  1. Starting with a cold large non-stick frypan, lay the bacon out in a single layer
  2. Cook over medium heat for 4-5 minutes per side
  3. Press frequently with a spatula to cook evenly
  4. Remove to a paper-towel-lined plate to absorb excess grease and set aside
  5. Spread 2 slices of bread with creamy Peppercorn Ranch Dressing
  6. Layer with Lettuce, Turkey, Cheddar Cheese Slices, Bacon, Tomato and Onion slices
  7. Spread the remaining slices of bread with Creamy Peppercorn Ranch Dressing and top sandwich

Creamy Peppercorn Ranch Sauce:

  1. Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl to combine, then cover and refrigerate until flavours combine for 2-3 hours or overnight
